NAME: Lindsay Kristiansen
I’M AN EXPERT IN: All things summer… give me a bicycle, Birkenstocks, the open road & I am a happy girl!
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN (HOW YOGA CAME INTO YOUR LIFE):
I started practicing yoga in June 2011. At the time I was a special education teacher who was spreading herself much too thin and was desperately seeking some sort of balance both emotionally and physically. I found that balance at Moksha, in the hot room and in the relationships I developed with the amazing instructors. I quickly began a daily (sometimes twice a day) practice. Yin Yoga helped me recover from a serious injury in the fall of 2013, which prompted me to become a certified Yin Yoga instructor. When I became pregnant I wanted to be sure I was making the proper accommodations for my changing body so I registered for my 85 hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher training. I was lucky to be able to practice right into the week I delivered! I am so passionate about all things baby and yin.
Anything made out of potatoes (french fries, chips, whipped, smashed, roasted. I’ll eat them)
WHERE CAN YOU FIND ME WHEN I’M NOT IN THE HOT ROOM:
You can find me adventuring with my son John, cooking (EATING) & when the time comes for me to return to work I’ll be teaching 4th grade.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN MY CLASS:
