NAME: Angela Zawada
I’M AN EXPERT IN:
Growing and harvesting Tobacco. Making Pierogi’s, and I can hold my own on a volleyball court and beach volleyball.
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN (HOW YOGA CAME INTO YOUR LIFE):
I started yoga when I was playing volleyball at U of A. I was looking for an additional form of training that was still challenging but easier on my joints, something that would compliment the plyometrics and the Olympic lifting etc. I first found Bikram, which satisfied this and then discovered Moksha when I was visiting my family in Ontario and found this was an even more amazing fit. It was both challenging and accessible especially for an ailing varsity athlete.
My mom’s Pierogi’s, Kale and tuna, however I’m guilty of devouring Tim’s breakfast croissant sandwich (I’m real)
WHERE CAN YOU FIND ME WHEN I’M NOT IN THE HOT ROOM:
Walking my dog Brady, enjoying the outdoors, at the gym or at my computer
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN MY CLASS:
I work with themes, which of course leads to playing with props with some laughs along the way!
