Grow Your Yoga 2015 - Working With Big Brothers Big Sisters
2015 marks Moksha Yoga and Modo Yoga’s 6th annual GROW YOUR YOGA campaign – a 30-day community-wide challenge that encourages students to adopt a daily practice. The campaign is based on our community’s 7 Philosophical Pillars: Be Healthy, Be Accessible, Live Green, Community Support, Reach Out, Live To Learn, and Be Peace; and, each studio works together to raise money for a charity doing great things in the world. This year, 100% of the collective funds raised will go to BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS – an organization that matches children facing adversity with caring adult mentors. For GROW YOUR YOGA 2015, our goal is to donate $200,000. The challenge begins on May 1st, and for a $5 donation to BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS – plus the cost of classes – students can participate in a full month of sweaty, community-supported, fun! Each participant will be given a 30-Day BINGO Card that provides them with the opportunity to win prizes, and are encouraged to sign up for the Grow Your Yoga newsletter which offers inspirations and tasks to compliment their daily sweat. Welcome to Moksha Yoga Edmonton
Moksha Yoga is a green, clean, hot yoga series that stretches, strengthens and tones the muscles while detoxifying the body and calming the mind. While all classes are rooted in the Moksha Yoga series, teachers are encouraged to bring their own unique knowledge and experience every time they enter the room to teach.
