NICKNAMES: Donna… that stuck ☺

I’M AN EXPERT IN: I’m not sure I’m the expert of anything… but I’ve been told I make a pretty yummy salad.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN (HOW YOGA CAME INTO YOUR LIFE):

My yoga began when I was in my early teens…coming home from school and rearranging the living room furniture so I had room to participate with Gerda Krebs PBS program called “Yoga Fits In”.  I enjoyed the feeling of contentment the practice gave me and when I got older I instinctively fell back to it as a way of coping when life felt out of control.

FAVORITE FOOD: Peanut butter and honey on toast.

WHERE CAN YOU FIND ME WHEN I’M NOT IN THE HOT ROOM:

When not in the hot room I enjoy spending time with my family, walking the dog and gardening with my husband or playing games with our kids.  Cycling, hiking and canoeing… or in the winter x-country skiing with friends and family.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN MY CLASS: 

My goal in either a Moksha or Yin class is for you to leave the studio relaxed and renewed…ready to move through you day with peace and energy.

WHAT TRAININGS HAVE YOU COMPLETED:

  • Moksha Yoga Training, 2009
  • Yin Yoga Training, 2010
  • I have participated at many other studios classes and workshops in the city and when I travel. My latest interests have been Yoga Ball Therapy. Rolling out muscles and fascia is amazing way to open the body.
